The Last Wave is a surf school based in Robertsport, Liberia. In this beach town, many kids grow up next to the ocean without ever being taught how to swim.
We’re changing that.
Through regular surf and swim sessions, we teach essential, life-saving water skills while using surf therapy to build confidence, connection, and awareness of both the ocean and the body. Surfing becomes a way for kids to regulate themselves, find balance, and feel at home in their environment. This is hands-on, local work led by the community.
